“We had a fantastic photoshoot with Mal to register our new baby Luanna’s arrival with some nice family pictures.
Mal arrived in our chaotic house and brought all of us at ease with her calm, patience and big smile. We asked for direction so Mal came prepared with lots of ideas so we could pick our preferences and even helped me pick everyone’s outfits.
I know that dealing with a toddler, a newborn and a tired mum is a challenge but Mal quickly connected with my toddler, found the best space in our tiny home and the results are clear through the pictures.
They all look fantastic and it captured some really special memories. We could not be happier!

“As someone who has avoided getting in front of the camera at all costs, doing a pregnancy photo shoot was the last thing I would have ever thought I would do. However, I’ve always regretted not having enough photos with my two boys in my pregnancies and their early years. So, I decided to take the plunge with Mal and I am so happy I did.
Mal instantly put me at ease even though I could tell the space she was working with was small and the lighting not ideal. Our house is a small cottage with not great lighting and toys everywhere. She didn’t let that phase her however and made sure I was comfortable the whole way. Not only did Mal encourage me the entire time but she made it so fun and we laughed a lot. I genuinely forgot all my insecurities halfway through the shoot and started to enjoy it. By some miracle she also managed to get some incredible photos of my two sons who were being particularly silly on the day. This was no small task!
I am so grateful that I decided to mark this pregnancy with some fantastic photos. I’m even more thankful that it was the wonderful Mal who took these photos. Her encouragement, humour and professional attitude made it all worth it. ”
